ABOUT Annemarie Ambrosoli…
Annemarie Ambrosoli was born in South Tyrol, Italy. She is an internationally recognized professional artist. She had her artist studio in Austria and now she lives in South Tyrol since 2022. She began creating art as a teenager, fascinated especially by the Impressionists, Post-Impressionists, and French Fauves.
After her artistic training, which took place by attending painting courses under the guidance of academic professors and with the teachings and advice of her painter uncle Ercole Frigoli, she began to paint landscapes "en plein air" using oil, watercolor, pastel, acrylic technique. She was totally fascinated by the effect of light on colors. After this long period of outdoor painting, which gave her a lot of satisfaction, she had the desire to change her style and to be more creative. In this new phase, she studies the composition of her new works with great precision to create a unique style, exploring her inner aesthetic sensibility, that is open to the viewer’s interpretation. She likes to work with oil paint and watercolor using several layers of color. She has been awarded several times both for her landscape painting and for her works in the new style. To mention, in 2019 and 2021, the prestigious A' Design Award in the "Arts, Crafts and Ready-Made Design" category. Some of her paintings were donated by her through an organization for a charity art auction at the Dorotheum Vienna auction house. Images of her works are in many art books. Annemarie has exhibited in group exhibitions in many countries in Europe and overseas at art fairs in Canada, Hong Kong, Dubai and in many European countries. Her works belong to private collections.
STATEMENT
“My name is Annemarie Ambrosoli. As an artist I try to tell stories through my creations with creativity, imagination, fantasy, aesthetics and originality on personal experiences, memories and new ideas. Music, dance, stories and everyday life situations are sources of inspiration for my works. The study of my works is very careful to give strength and visual impact. Each work is designed in detail. To do so, I use geometric shapes such as circles, squares, rectangles, triangles and straight lines. The originality of the painted details gives great strength to the scene. Now I follow my own style, which I created after years of studying both color and subject, and I let my feeling carry me by developing my ideas in an original way and conveying joy, serenity, positivity, happiness to the viewer. I am very happy to be able to convey through my works my emotions and enthusiasm.”
