Anja Diabaté is an artist based in Hamburg, Germany. She uses Fine Art Photography to transform her concepts and ideas into unique artworks. Her strengh and power is the transformation of her ideas and creativity into extremly expressive and soulful photos. Each of her photographs tells a unique story, her aim is always to inspire a viewer to get into depth and reflection.
Her highest self-requirement is to create multiple photos from a single original, but without ever losing the cohesion to the embedding series. Each artwork represents a definite concept and encourages the viewer starting to create his own story in his mind.
The ornate face paintings and make-up are all created and performed by Anja herself. Anja's nature is to deeply dive into her creativity, to create something completely new and to fully enjoy all this. It is the highest representation of her self.
Metamorphosis
Metamorphosis serves a poignant reminder that change is an intrinsic part of our human experience. It is a process in which old layers are shed, freeing oneself from limitations, and assuming a new state of being. On our journey of self-discovery, we evolve, adapt, and reshape our identities, always seeking a better understanding of ourselves and our place in the world. This unique composition by the artist Anja Diabaté consists of a series of interconnected motifs that merge with each other, eliciting a wealth of emotions and thoughts. The artist consciously employs abstraction here, challenging our perception and stimulating our imagination. It is an expression of creative freedom, where the boundaries of reality are transcended to create a visionary world of its own. Instead of depicting the external world in its visible form, Anja Diabaté expresses her impressions, thoughts, and feelings.
